Miniver Cheevyis a man, who is really trying to live life in the true call of his yearnings as a part of his human nature. He is evidently expressive and he possesses an extrovert personality as justified by his flashy act of drinking. He is a poor man who is in struggle of contentment and satisfaction, whileRichard Coryis a rich man who is living with a destructive lull in his personality. He’s an introvert individual and pretentious. He’s not living life the way he desires it to be. He goes against the call of his human nature.
These two persons are in struggle for real, genuine, and unfeigned happiness. These undertakings imply disturbances and confusions. Both of their lives are miserable, despondent and dejected.
Silence is the most perfect expression of scorn and silence propagates itself, and the longer talk has been suspended, the more difficult it is to find anything to say and so it is then that turmoil will detectably spoil your life..
There seems to be a lull in the outward allusion of life as shown by Richard Cory. It does not match with the actual encounter he is inwardly engage at. This phenomenon certainly pertains to an introvert personality.
A personality that is evidently calm on the outward but certainly troubled inside is a driving force towards a miserable life. This is a part of life’s hurdles. As I consider it, it is a grime of life.
Being an agent of pretense is a way of voluntarily killing yourself. Life isn’t about what you want people would see of you, not about impressions on you, because at the end, it is only who will take the liability in taking heed of yourself. Never can you attain real contentment and gratification as well as happiness if you only live to feed the perceptual assumptions of the crowd. This is just temporal. Take hold of yourself. The underlying dangers of living life in destructive lull of your entity bring you into jeopardy. So just live within the circle of your yearnings and so I tell you, you’ll find real jubilation.
Beauty and the beat is a story that reminds me of how an unprecedented beauty must be defined. It brews me upon being a wise lover. Just like how Beauty defended her love for Beast beyond the imperfections of his physical manifestations. What the lady had done is an evidence, an indication that love knows no boundaries. As long as you know how to love, then there are no grounds for you not to be loved.
For me, attitude matters, character counts, for it is attitude and character that make an individual aesthetically outshining. This is what the story had inculcated in my living mentality. It acquaints me to love unconditionally and never ever let my standards be based on the physical concerns. Yes, it may be a slice of it, but beauty and charm is deceitful, it will fade along with age and time. I must always find myself in search of contentment that calls not for superficial beauty but for aesthetic character that shines unconditionally.
This encounter is inevitable; the human populace is indeed a victim of fraudulent physical beauty. It may lead to a hazardous emotional status. It’s a rampant erroneous belief that if one is physically attracted to a person then it is love. It must be rectified and thud, be improved unto an apt mind-setting. The tangled minds must be reminded that beauty must come from within, for it is only this type of beauty signifies infinity and perpetuity.
Air-conditioned shopping malls, enigmatic movie houses, comfy restaurants and tall buildings might be deceiving but my heart calls for a place that shelters an entity filled with uncertainty.
Throughout my first year college life, I chose to ignore my probinsyana identity. The most important thing for me was to fit in- wear the latest clothes, listen to the coolest music, and speak the commonly spoken expressions between friends. If anyone asked me of my ethnic background, I emphasized that I was born in the province but I was raised in the city for the following years. Somehow, I had come to the conclusion that to fit myself in the city life, I must exclude my provincial heritage.
As I tread along the deceiving city life, I arrived at the point of recognizing the real essence of my probinsyana identity. I discovered that the messy reality of living in cities. The fear inside seemed to be endless every time I went out of my boarding house. I had to be extra careful because conscienceless snatchers might accomplish their mission with my unconscious participation. Turn left, turn right, have a strong sense of sight, a number of vehicles might hit you right under the shade of the sun so bright. What’s more? Pollution is everywhere jeopardizing everybody’s health. On the corners were street children craving for food while their parents were busy begging for alms from the people passing by. They are indeed, lazy people, wasting their time in being worthless members of the society. On the other hand, there were laborers who looked very exhausted working on markets and terminals just to receive a minimal amount of peso coins. What an annoying scenario of a hated life- very messy, untidy and chaotic.
Being able to witness all of these sad authenticities of city life, I end up realizing that rural life is still the most convenient life a person can ever live in.Looking through the beauty of nature as I wake up every morning made me feel secured and safe, free from the dangerous hazards of the city. Every people in our province were working hard to earn a living. If we want to reap something, then start sowing now. Everything we need was served by the nature. There’s no need to snatch on streets just to finance our expenses. We just have to work hard on farms and enjoy the exquisiteness what a wonderful, superb, amazing, astonishing and brilliant life it is to live in provinces than in cities.
Now, as I begin to live upon the lessons I learned, I integrate this new knowledge unto my upbringing for me to be a better person. This process of integration bridges the two identities of human life (city and rural) in which the humanity used to live in. now, I no longer say I love city life because it is in my probinsyana identity that I live in peace as I continue in this chaotic city just to realize every part of my dreams and aspirations in life.
1.Discuss how Modelling and Scaffolding affect in the child’s learning progress.
Modelling and Scaffolding both affects the child's learning process because these are essentially-structured to give emphasis on independent learning. Learners are active participants of the learning process. They are inclined to discover things for the sake of learning progress.
Modelling promotes the development of spatial intelligence allowing the students to follow the patterns used by the mentors. They will not be left alone in the process because they are imitators but not totally dependent. Upon modelling, they also have the chance to integrate their personal discoveries in the processes they gathered.
Scaffolding is a major tool for discovery learning. They will be able to create a schema that is an integration of their prior knowledge and the concepts gained from the current mentor who imparts valuable information to them.
These two things remind the learners to walk on to the road of learning progress with independence and cognitive awareness.
3.Create your own motivational strategy showing the use of Student-centered Theory to introduce a topic in Literature. Discuss how you will implement the strategy. make your own title and identify the materials to be used.
"I am who I am"
Instruction: Find a pair, then you create a 2-3 mins. jingle. The lyrics should be about your personal characteristics both positive and negative. Make it jolly and fun(entertaining). You are only given 30 minutes to practice. Present your jingle in front of the class. NO need of props just bring yourselves in front with enough confidence and vigor.
This can motivate my students to participate in my lesson because my main objective is to let them distinguish positive and negative attitudes possessed by the young people of this generation. The theme of the story that I will present is contentment and satisfaction of ones possessions both material and non-material. The story will remind them to reflect on their personalities to eventually grow up morally-inclined.
