Modelling and Scaffolding both affects the child's learning process because these are essentially-structured to give emphasis on independent learning. Learners are active participants of the learning process. They are inclined to discover things for the sake of learning progress.
Modelling promotes the development of spatial intelligence allowing the students to follow the patterns used by the mentors. They will not be left alone in the process because they are imitators but not totally dependent. Upon modelling, they also have the chance to integrate their personal discoveries in the processes they gathered.
Scaffolding is a major tool for discovery learning. They will be able to create a schema that is an integration of their prior knowledge and the concepts gained from the current mentor who imparts valuable information to them.
These two things remind the learners to walk on to the road of learning progress with independence and cognitive awareness.
3.Create your own motivational strategy showing the use of Student-centered Theory to introduce a topic in Literature. Discuss how you will implement the strategy. make your own title and identify the materials to be used.
"I am who I am"
This can motivate my students to participate in my lesson because my main objective is to let them distinguish positive and negative attitudes possessed by the young people of this generation. The theme of the story that I will present is contentment and satisfaction of ones possessions both material and non-material. The story will remind them to reflect on their personalities to eventually grow up morally-inclined.
